
Stuffed Dough Triangles
Prepare ingredients:
- dough (biscuit or pizza, either homemade or refrigerated)
- up to 4 cups filling ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups meat
- 1 1/2 cups cheese
- 1 cup vegetables
Layer ingredients in a 9 x 13:
1. half the dough (press onto the bottom)
2. half the meat
3. all the cheese
4. remaining meat
5. vegetables
Preheat oven to 350°.
In a small bowl, whisk:
- 4 eggs
- 1/4 grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 Tbs Italian dressing
Reserve 1/4 cup of the egg mixture, but pour the rest over the filling. Roll out the other half of the dough put it on the top of everything.
Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes. Uncover and brush with reserved egg mixture. Return to oven until crust is golden brown, at least 20 more minutes. Cut into triangles.
Notes
Original recipe called for ham, pepperoni, swiss cheese, provolone cheese, and roasted red peppers.
If using refrigerated dough, use 2 tubes biscuit dough or 1 tube pizza dough.
