
Stir Fry
Cut into bite-size pieces:
- 1.5-2 lbs boneless chicken or pork
- 6-8 cups vegetables (see below)
- 1 onion
- 2-3 cloves garlic
Mix sauce together using:
- 2 Tbs cornstarch
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/3 cup soy sauce
- 2 Tbs oil (vegetable or sesame)
- 2 Tbs apple cider vinegar
- 2 Tbs brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp sriracha
Heat in the skillet:
- 1-2 Tbs oil
Add meat to the skillet for a few minutes until cooked through (3-5 minutes, working in batches as necessary). Season with salt as it cooks. Remove to a pie plate.
Add the onion and garlic, along with:
- 1-2 Tbs oil, as needed
- 1 tsp ground ginger
Cook for about 30 seconds and then begin adding vegetables, adjusting cooking time based on vegetable heartiness.
Return the meat to the skillet and add the sauce. Mix everything together and cook for 1-2 minutes to thicken the sauce.
Garnish as desired (see below).
Notes
Serve over rice or noodles.

Vegetable suggestions:
- bell pepper
- broccoli
- carrots
- green beans
- mushrooms
- onion
- peas
- yellow squash
- zucchini
- pre-prepped mix (frozen)
For added flavor, marinate meat in 1 Tbs soy sauce and 1 tsp cornstarch for 10 minutes.
