Sausage Hash Brown Casserole

Preheat oven to 350°.

Grease a 9 x 13 pan.

Using a large skillet, cook:

   - 1 lb sausage or ground beef

Drain excessive fat and then lightly brown:

   - 32 oz frozen shredded hash browns

Layer the hash browns and sausage in the 9 x 13 pan, then add:

   - 2 cups shredded cheese

In a bowl, mix together:

   - 8 eggs

   - 1 tsp salt

   - 1/2 tsp pepper

   - 1/4 tsp garlic powder

   - 1/4 tsp onion powder

   - 2 cups milk

Pour egg mixture into casserole dish.

Bake (uncovered) for about 35 minutes.


Chopped onion and/or green pepper can be cooked with the sausage.

Casserole may be prepared in advance and kept in the freezer or fridge. Thaw before cooking.
