Ramen Cabbage Salad

In the skillet, melt:

   - 1/2 cup butter


Add:

   - 2 packages ramen noodles, crushed (remove seasoning packet)

   - 1 cup slivered almonds

   - 2 tsp sesame seeds


Stir constantly until noodles and nuts are browned. Remove from heat and cool.


In the small saucepan, bring to a boil:

   - 3/4 cup oil

   - 1/2 cup sugar

   - 1/4 cup vinegar


While stirring, boil for one minute. Then add:

   - 2 Tbs soy sauce


Put into a large bowl:

   - 1 head cabbage, shredded

   - 4 green onions, chopped


Pour the sauce into the bowl and stir to coat. When ready to serve, add the noodle mixture and mix.
