Mashed Potatoes (Instant Pot)

Wash and cut into quarters:

   - 4 lbs potatoes


Put potatoes into instant pot along with:

   - 1 1/4 cups water

   - 1 tsp salt


Cook on high pressure for 16 minutes.


Mash and add to taste:

   - butter

   - milk

   - salt

Notes

For more flavor, add garlic to the instant pot before cooking.


Optional add-ins after cooking:

   - bacon, summer sausage, kielbasa, or ham

   - grated cheese

   - green onion
