Chicken Noodle Soup

Chop/slice:

   - 1 onion

   - 3-4 carrots

   - 2-3 ribs celery

   - 2-3 cloves garlic

   - 1.5-2 lbs chicken


Saute the onion, carrots, and celery in:

   - 2 Tbs butter


After 1 minute, add the chicken. When the chicken is fully cooked,  add the garlic and:

   - 3 Tbs chicken bouillon

   - 1 tsp ground thyme

   - 1 tsp salt


Cook for another minute, then add:

   - 8 cups water

   - 1 bay leaf

   - 1 tsp parsley


Bring to a boil and add:

   - 1 lb egg noodles


Cook until noodles are al dente. Remove bay leaf before serving.
