Baked French Toast (sweet)

Grease the pan. Add:

   - 1 loaf of bread, cubed or torn into chunks


Whisk in bowl:

   - 8-10 eggs

   - 2 1/2 cups milk

   - 2 Tbs vanilla

   - 1/2 cup white sugar

   - 1/2 cup brown sugar

   - 1/4 tsp salt


Pour mixture over bread, cover, and store in the fridge.


For topping, mix:

   - 1/2 cup flour

   - 1/2 cup brown sugar

   - 1 tsp ground cinnamon

   - 1/4 tsp salt

   - 1/4 tsp nutmeg


Cut into the topping:

   - 1/2 cup butter (cold)


Cover and store topping in the fridge.


To bake - preheat oven to 350°, sprinkle topping over french toast, bake for 50-60 minutes.

9x13 pan

large bowl for egg mixture

small bowl for topping

Can be served with butter, syrup, and/or fruit.
