Apple Crisp (oven)

Peel and chop:

   - 4 large apples

To the apples, add:

   - 2 Tbs sugar

   - 3/4 tsp cinnamon

   - 1 1/2 tsp lemon juice

Add apple mixture to a greased 8x8 baking dish.

In the same bowl, mix the topping ingredients:

   - 1 cup brown sugar

   - 3/4 cup oats

   - 3/4 cup flour

   - 1/2 cup butter, diced

   - pinch of salt

Use a pastry cutter to cut the butter into the rest of the topping mixture. Spread topping over apples and press down gently.

Bake in a 350° oven until golden brown and bubbly, about 40-50 minutes.
